We've have a nice long weekend.
Thursday night we got into Amarillo and stayed with the Crawfords (Nathan's aunt/uncle). Friday morning we hung out with Donna (Nathan's mom) and her sister (whose house we were staying at) and her nephew. It was fun. We ate at a place called Sharky's. It was pretty good. :) Friday afternoon we drove over to the tiny town of Shamrock (population less than 2000). We helped decorate the U-Drop Inn for the reception. You know the movie Cars... the place where they painted the cars in the movie was designed after the U-Drop in. It was pretty cool. Then there was the rehearsal. Allie and I went to explore while Erin and Nathan practiced getting married. The town had about five hardware stores, five hotels, a bunch of gas stations, two dollar stores, a McD's and a Subway. We ate when they were done practicing and then explored the church. The children's area at the church was pretty cool. All of the rooms had murals all over the walls. Then we went back to the hotel and swam for a little bit. We also celebrated birthdays (Brent's, Dad's, and Dave Spear's) with swiss cake rolls... there was no where in town that sold cakes. After that Brent, Tommy, Allie, and I played Phase 10. We let Brent win because it was close to his birthday :)
Saturday we got up and around and then went to look for car decorating supplies. We found some shoe polish, ribbons, balloons, and some condoms (Dad's idea). You can see the pictures below of Nathan's truck. Then was the wedding and reception and such. It was a nice wedding. Afterwards pretty much everyone took off. Grandma and Grandpa were staying one more night, so we did go out to dinner with them and hung out for a little bit. Other than that it was a pretty uneventful night.
This morning we got up and got around. Ate breakfast, said good bye to Grandma and Grandpa, packed, and then took off for Amarillo. We wandered around WallyWorld for a little bit, had Sonic for lunch, and then headed to the airport.... which is where we are now.
